Family Potrait - Razali Zain, Hanis Haizi & Haris

The image is not as sharp as I like it to be, due to the lack of light. One flashgun on camera was used, pointing to the high ceiling. Hence slow shutter speed of 1/60 was used and aperture I think f/3.2. Hasilnya tak sharp! Tapi tak kesah sangat sebab ekspresi diorang ni telah mencantikkan gambar ini.
To Raz, Hanis and Haris, thanks for the visiting us during Raya in Kuantan.

“He who fasts in the month of Ramadhan followed by 6 days in Syawal, it is as if he has fasted for 1 year.” [Riwayat Muslim 1984, Ahmad 5/417, Abu Dawud 2433, At-Tirmidzi 1164]
Translation please…
“Barangsiapa yang berpuasa di bulan Ramadhan dan melanjutkannya dengan 6 hari pada Syawal, ia adalah seumpama dia telah berpuasa setahun.”
Wow! Fasting everyday for the whole year! It’s like work for 6 days, get paid for 1 year! Cool isnt it? So, apalagi, jomla pose 6, if you haven’t started oredi. I know someone oredi even finished pose 6. Congratz! Hurry up! Offers end at 18th October 2009.

Asma Allah by Sami Yusuf
Posted by alfaath.alayubbi in Found on the web on September 7, 2009
MasyaAllah. I just got a chill in my spine listening to this. Definitely worth to post it here in my blog. When I was still a kid, my dad use to play this Asma Ul Husna nasyid performed by Nadamurni I think…
and it was the only version we use to sing in the kindergarden, in school and all. It was ok, it help me to memorize all the 99 names but this new version by Sami Yusuf…. It just makes Asma Allah much much more meaningful, majestic and beautiful. Thank you dude!
So, click play now, close your eyes and listen with your heart…. Ok maybe you need to open your eyes to read the translation.
And not to mention, the lighting during the high-key and low-key shots are both excellente! Memenuhi citarasa guer.

A friend saw my blog and kinda like the theme I’m using (Fusion theme by digitalnature)… but she kinda like it in pink! No problem, since I am myself a Webmaster by profession. So, after 5 minutes of photoshop and 2 minutes of tweaking the css. Wallah!! And since I am in a charitable mode, if you like this modified theme, click on link down here.

Zekr Quran for Windows and Mac (with translation and recitation)
Posted by alfaath.alayubbi in Application on August 25, 2009
Here is another Quran software (thanks to Mr. Raz for posting this in his blog). I just finished installing it and it looks awesome as well. It’s even better with the English translation under the Arabic ayat. Also it even has recitation features which includes almost all the popular imam. Amazing! Anyhow, I will test this software further and update this review. What an amazing software! Stay tuned for full review later.
(Note: If you are an old school, plain and simple like me who like easy interface and easy reading, check out my previous post. The Quran software is pure imitation of the printed Quran.)

Best Simple Al-Quran Software for Windows!

Best Quran Software
Reading Al-Quran or the Quran is one of the most recommended activity during the month of Ramadhan.
For most of us, we have our personal Quran at home. After we read the Quran, we mark it by folding the tip of the page or using some sort of bookmark in order for us to continue where we left later. Normally, we don’t bring our personal Quran to office for some reasons, but we still want to continue reading it during lunchtime or after Zuhur or Asar prayer.
Sometimes, we forget which page, ayat or surah that we last read. So here comes the solution: A software by Alif Lam Mim called ‘Mushaf Al-Madinah Viewer’. What I like about this software is that, it’s a freeware! And it is Rasm Uthmani, the type of Quran that I used to read here in Malaysia. And it is very easy to navigate.
How is this solving the ‘I don’t bring my personal Quran to work and I can’t remember where did I last read the Quran’? Easy. You have handphone, yes? Just type in a message, surah, page and ayat. Save as Draft. Later when you go to work, where you installed the software, run the program, open up the message on the handphone and Bismillahirrahmanirrahim…. please continue reading.
